Buying or Selling Auction at FAQ

  • What are the steps to having an auction?

    1. We visit about your needs and goals and decide if an auction is the best solutions for your needs.  
    2. Once we view the property to be sold we will know an approximate value and the correct percentage for the comission fee.  We will also discuss other expenses depending on wether it is real estate or personal property.
    3. We choose a date for the auction to be conducted.
    4. We gather information, photos and details necessary for contracts, marketing and advertising.
    5. Off to the races!  We prepare the marketing plan and build the required ads for print, social media, the website listing.  We spread the word and begin multiple streams of advertising campaigns.
    6. Auction day has arrived!  We conduct the auction.
    7. Final settlement within after the auction. The final settlement reports provide you the full details of the auction including what each item individual item brought and who bought it.  The report will show all involved fees which are deducted from the proceeds.
  • How do I buy at an auction?

    We make it easy!  When you arrive at the auction location, you will come to our mobile office and register for a buyer's number.  We just need a photo ID, address and phone number to issue your bidder's card.  If you have a resale, farm or other TAX EXEMPTION permit YOU MUST show a copy and it MUST be logged AT TIME OF REGISTRATION.

    Once you have your number and the auction starts, just raise your hand, yell, throw a rock (just kidding) to bid on the item being auctioned at the time.  It's lots of fun!
